Bergara B-14 rifle re-barrel/accurize

I have a Bergara B-14 Terrain Wilderness rifle in 7 mm rem mag. Wanting to re-barrel to maybe a 6mm magnum caliber. Does anyone do this (have not read of anyone using the Bergara as the basis of a semi custom build)? Any reasons to not re-barrel? Ways to accurize the action/stock/trigger?
