Recommendation for a barrel vise for a Proof Research carbon fiber barrel. It must be thin enough to grab the shank only to avoid damaging the cf correct?

I would think a normal vise would probably hold up based on this video.

Just a normal barrel vice. Just clamp it on the Tennon.

I have the Bald Eagle. Pretty good for the price. It may not work for removing tight factory barrels, tho......

Ok thanks for the info. I am using the vise for a bighorn origin action to switch out barrels with.

I use the Viper Barrel Vise and it works just fine. I have a Proof Carbon fiber on my bighonr/zermatt Origin action and I do the same thing.

Mine is used on Bighorn TL3 with proof sendero lights at 70 pounds of torque
