Barrel coatings?

Looking for more information about different barrel coatings that others here have posted about. Pvd,nitride? Some members report gaining a decent amount of velocity with them. Tried searching here and other places but have found very little. I would love to hear more from folks that have used them. Thanks

Thanks Feenix! I never have much much trying to search old threads.
Does anybody have any.more experience lately?
From what I read on the links it's doesn't sound like it's worth it.
