That sounds good.I do have someone already interested in the maple stock. What we can do is we can work together in finding you the right blank. Then I can build one for you.

The hardest part for me is handing them off after I'm finished. I spend countless hours (at times months) filing, shaping, sanding etc. Seeing the vision you have come together. Each blank has its own character. Sometimes it takes a while before you can see the blanks potential.I don't think it is possible to understand the amount of time and work it takes to make a stock from a blank if you haven't done it, even just finishing a pre-carved stock is something that takes a lot of guts to start and even more to finish. I have seen some that aren't great but still admire the effort it took, some of my own efforts fall very squarely into this category too...... Those that do this work well have my complete respect for the art and the artistry that they can create from a board.
