AR15/Remington R15

A friend of mine is looking for an AR for the purpose of hunting coyotes and what not! He is considering the Remington R15 (223 Only)

Centerfire Rifle - Model R-15 Predator Carbine CS- Remington Centerfire Rifles

Anyone have any first hand knowledge of this weapon, either for the good or the bad! Or any other model/brand similar.

If memory serves me correctly the Remington R15 is basically a rebranded Bushmaster. As far as I know a Bushmaster rifle is a fine predator/varmint extermination tool. They shoot strait enough to kill anything bigger than a baseball(shooter skill depends) so it should serve you well. You might save some money buying a bushmaster that says bushmaster on it though.
