I see Barnes has corrected their website data for .284 140 TSX and now list BC at .394.

Nosler .284 140 accubond list bc at like .485.

Anyone checked either for actual bc?

I'll bet both are pretty close......the rings on the tsx are not good for "air flow" as the bullet flies.

When Barnes had the .284 140 tsx listed at .477 it was too high, but now seems a little low at .394.

I guess will have to shoot over both chronos and see.

Was hoping that maybe someone had done that to see. Will try and not kill another chrono.

I don't think .394 is too low. The 140XXX is not near as aerodynamic as the polymer tipped bullets available today. HP bullets with large HPs like the TS tend to have pretty lame BCs. I've also read studies about the drag the rings and even canelures cause.

I wouldn't be surprized if .394 was even alittle high.
