Anyone build an M14

I am thinking of building an M14 in the style of the DMR rifle my unit had in Iraq or the veitnam era semi auto sniper rifle. It isnt going to be a true to life clone but I am looking for 1 MOA performance synthetic stock like the Mcmillan A3 and a scope. It would be a .308. Mainly for a range toy and possibly for steel target match inside 700 yards. I already have a bolt .308 so I am also kicking around the idea of doing it in 30-06.

Just wondering if anyone else has done this sort of thing?

I have M14 DMR and M39 EMR builds. The Mcmillan M2A stock is getting harder to find.. if you go on AR15.com, M14forum.com, snipershide and this site you may be able to track down a stock and parts to complete your build...
