Alumina scope covers do not fit on a Huskemaw

FYI.

It was worth a shot, since the alumina is such a good product. So, I went ahead and bought an objective cover in 50mm size. Turns out 50mm != 50mm. The alumina 50mm objective cover doesn't thread into the Huskemaw 50mm objective.

As nice as the Alumina covers are, I'm pretty sure picking a scope to fit your lens caps is a demonstration of bad priorities.

I bought a Butler Creek lens cap today. It's not even in the same league as the Alumina stuff, but it seems to be the only option available otherwise.

I have done the same thing. If anyone has a better quality solution for a Huskemaw I would appreciate knowing about it. I've used the Butler Creek for 2 years now - it works , but it sure could be better.
