I picked up a LR1000 long action stock that had had a Stiller predator action in it. The stock has one of GW aluminum chassis in it. The question I have is it has a unique screw that comes up from the bottom of the stock and into a plate type nut that seems to tighten up to the face of the recoil lug. I’ve never had a chassis so I need some clarity.
The questions are;
-Do I have to stick with a Stiller or will another ejection port line up with a different action without cutting the opening to match
-Do I need to stay with Stiller because of the action/chassis combo might have been made to each other’s specs for perfect fit?
-what recoil lug is needed?
-it’s a BDL stock so what bottom metal is needed?

It’s inlet for the stiller, you can drop another clone action in but the ejection port cutout may not line up perfectly. I would def give gunwerks a call about the recoil lug securing block.
