Ilm having a 260 rem built with a 24" 8 twist. The rifle will be used for mainly for deer and coyote out to 500 yards, and more once my skills are up to the task. Does any pne have any experience with ether loaded in a straight 260

This depends on what you want a bullet to do. Camps are divided here. Bergers are designed to explode and create mass trauma usually resulting in the animal dead in it's tracks with massive internal damage (more bloodshot and cleanup) while a bonded type bullet (Accubond) is designed more for weight retention and penetration. Usually personal ethics make the decision. Both bullets you chose are capable of putting animals on the dirt and shooting great groups on paper.
