Hello,

I installed a Tubb Speed Lock in the bolt of my Shultz and Larsen 98 mauser last night. I got the pin and spring from superior shooting. It was an easy install, and all went well.

Except when I tested it to see how much firing pin protrusion there was. It sticks out a long ways. 0.120" As far as my research goes, I should have 0.055" to 0.065".

What is the best method of correcting this??

Thanks alot, Eric

Send David Tubb(Superior Shooting Systems) an email explaining what you are seeing and he will take care of it at no charge. He is excellent to work with.
