Is there an issue with the 7mm RUM?

I have an older Savage 110 stainless steel rifle (3 screw trigger) chambered in 7mm RUM.

I can only find limited reloading data and it seems no manufacturer makes them anymore.

No problem at all! It just got outshined by the 28 Nosler.

I think it came out too early for its time. The long, heavy 7mm bullets really weren't around at the time. Now the guys pushing the 195s and 197s are doing it with 28nos.

The 28nos advantage is slightly less powder and a true long action.

I didn't know anyone other than Rem did production builds of the RUM. There is still REALLY good factory ammo available.
