Anyone running the 7mm 155 grain hammer hunter in a 9" twist? Putting together a 7mm mashburn and was curious if I could get by with a 9 twist. Bullet would be around 3250fps and 3000' of elevation or higher

I believe it would work. I spoke with the owner today and if I recall, he said a 9 would stabilize it.

You can call directly off their website and get ahold of someone pretty easily.

I use it in my 280AI with a 1:8 twist, but it keyholed at 100 yards from my 280AI with a 10 twist. Could go either way with 1:9 depending on powder used and speed attained.

The minimum recommended twist for the 155gr. HH is 8.75. You might buy a box and give them a whirl. If they don't stabilize hit me up and I'll take them off your hands. Better yet, call Steve and get his opinion. I run that exact bullet in a 7RM with an 8.5 twist and accuracy is great.
