Wondering what the average barrel life is for 7 WSM. I understand a lot depends on what load you are shooting and how hot you run each load. I'm considering picking up a rifle in this caliber. How is it compared to .308? Thanks in advance.

the 7wsm is one of those cartridges where you ought to have a brass supply before you even get into the rifle.
I would guess the barrel life to range from 1,000 to 1,500 rounds, depending on how hard you run it and how you treat it.
