Love my 7stw. My favorite elk hammer with 160 partitions, mid 3200s.

It's literally a 1 hole gun with 160np.

A wise friend of mine who has quite a bit of competitive shooting experience as well as being on army shooting teams once told me: the two worst things for a precision shooter are a bore scope and a chronograph. let the results tell you the story. I'd say your STW is pretty happy!

just ran into another trying to tell me that a 6.5 creedmoor has the same killing power as 7 STW at 800 yards.

So some details on the setup.

Started out as Rem 700, ss dm B, enhanced receiver. Factory 24" bbl, plus a brake.

Was very accurate, but didn't squeeze all the performance out of a 24" bbl.

I found a new 26" takeoff from a 700 KS in 7mag. Boxed it up, sent it to Karl, at Kampfield. He spun off the factory, rechambered the KS takeoff, fluted the bolt, and cerakoted the bbld action in titanium.

She's now a half moa hammer.

Where do you find these people? I've been scouring the internet and shooting ranges for years hoping to find a Creedmoor enthusiast that dramatically exaggerates the abilities of Creedmoor, but all I ever find are stories about these people.
