7 PRC and Berger 195 EOL

Hello, curious if anyone is shooting this combination and if so what kind of results are you getting.

My Bergara action and 22" carbon 6 liked it "ok" but far better than it like the "outfitter" and the choice ammo tipped with barns.
My gun drove tacks with the eldx.
I was really wanting that 195 to be my go to…hopefully yours works out.

I assume you meant Vihtavouri N570, and not Hogdon H570 that has been discontinued for many years. N570 works great for me, I'm sure it will for you too!

In my 18 Nosler I was not able to get the 195's to shoot. The 180's and now the 190 hybrid target shoot really good and all 7 animals dropped within 10 feet.

Savage ultralight retumbo Adg brass with the 195 has been incredible in my buddies rifle that I helped set up. Elk and deer this year. Both had good shot placement and good lethal results and performance. We just did a quick work up. There was a node above the one we used that was faster that we are revisiting.

I've been shooting them out of my 28 Nosler with a 8.5:1 twist for years with excellent results. Not a PRC but close. I'm using R33 but only have about a pound left. I do have some N570 which others have said is very close to R33 so I'm expecting good results with it as well. I have two good nodes, one at 3030 fps and one at 3175 fps. Slower one works just fine on game and gives me .3 MOA.

DEE what dies are you using and how far are you off the lands?? Also barrel length??
