I finally have my new rifle range ready and looking to work up a load with the 195 Bergers. I have RL33, H1000, and Retumbo. I've heard RL33 yields the best velocity but I can't find a starting point for charge weight. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Bullwhacker,
Here is the load information we have for the 7mm Dakota. All loads are based on a COAL of 3.399 in and a 26 in barrel.
RE-33 : MIN = 72.5gr. MAX = 76.5 gr. Approx velocities = 2677 to 2845 fps. Approx fill ratio = 97%

H1000 : MIN = 65.5 gr . MAX = 68.7 gr. Approx velocities = 2641 to 2768 fps . Approx fill ratio = 97%

RETUMBO : MIN = 68.5 gr . MAX = 71.9 gr . Approx velocities = 2687 to 2813 fps . Approx fill ratio = 100%
Let us know if you have any other question please.

Follow up data for anyone working on 7 Dakota with the 195 Bergers.

I've only worked with RL33 but the velocity and accuracy met expectations so I haven't done any further powder development work. Pressure is near max but not showing excesive pressure signs. Currently working on 6 reloads with the brass and primer pockets are still tight. Drop has not been verified in the field yet.

81.0 Gr RL-33

F-215M Primers

26" Lilja 1:9 Barrel
