6mm x 47 Load Data?

I had a 6 x 47 chambered up some time ago and was looking for some data. 22" Brux 8 twist. I have been trying the 105 Berger hunting vld and the 105 A max. Been using H-4350 charges from 38-40 gains in 0.5 increment's and my groups suck. Was looking for some data on another powder and charge weight.

I like RL 16, with the Berger, somewhere between 38-39.5gr, depending on how hot the lot of powder is. Even with a 22" barrel, not sure why you could not get in the 3K-3030fps range.

I cant get nothing under an inch with h-4350 going from 38-40 and I have shot these loads over around 3 times. I think my barell does not like 4350.

Okay that's a start. I thought about it but case is showing no sign of pressure.

Sorry, but case volume is not a problem here, getting a complete burn from a 22" barrel here is with some powders.

I posted a QL profile that is picture perfect, VV N 550 another powder that will shine, IMR 4451 will work too at reduced speeds.
I have to tend to agree, that in 6mm, the X47 case does not lend itself well to slower powders that are usually associated with necking down a case.
But this is what he has to work with, I am just offering solutions that have worked here. Heck, guys shoot his same combo with varget and make it work, not my first choice.

If we are going to pick apart the OP's choices, my real suggestion would be to do an honest load workup, not shoot groups at .5gr increments with any powder and hope something sticks.

If you get tired of trying the Berger try A 85 gr Sierra gameking it is a fantastic hunting projectile for everything from varmints to deer, not to mention they flat out shoot well. I'm curious to hear more about your rifle, I've been wanting to do something for my 9yr old. Been thinking 243, 6 creed, or 6x45 since I have a ton of brass. I actually use the 85 bthp out of my 6 x 284 and very efficient on deer. Tried shooting it at long range and with no bc to it you couldn't hit an elephant twice at 1k. Even though I don't plan to use a 6 x 47 for long range I went with a 8 twist to try some heavier bullets. If I have to settle on it I will but wonder how it would work with that fast twist.

I have a 6x47 that's a hammer with the Berger 105's. Shot this group @ 500 yards with 39gr of H4350 with the bullet seated .015 off the lands. Had it out to 1000 yards a few times and milk jugs are no problem to hit.
