My 6.5x284 finally finished..
Remington 700
Krieger 8.5 twist 6.5 m24 contour
Manners t4 stock
Egw base
Burris extreme rings
Leupold mark 4 4.5-14x50 for now ... Saving for another nightforce 5.5-22x50

It looks almost identical to the one I just posted underneath you. Good looking gun.

50.5 - 52 grains of H4831 and Sierra 142s or Berger 140s is magic in my 6.5x284

Once you reach 2850 FPS it will bughole.

You can run it faster, but there is no need. I have 20 reloads on my brass. I don't have to bump my shoulders back for several firings too.

Thanks you're 300 rum looks good to Im gonna try some h4831 next week when I get a chance. it's showing promise 51 grains h1000 139 lapua scenar .

Did you have any velocity numbers with H1000?

Shawn it was about 2800fps with 54g h1000

Thanks. Im supposed to find a load for a friend 6.5 and he gave me 140vlds and h1000. Ive got 1 round loaded from 54-57.5gr. I expect to see pressure before that. How far did you work up and where did you see pressure signs?

I had started seeing pressure around 56.5g

But I've settled on 54.0 grains the pic was at 51.0 grains
