6.5PRC shorty

about to start load development on a 6.5 PRC with a 20 inch barrel that will have a thunder beast ultra 7 on it. Wanting to test with 156 and 140's. Anybody very their powder choices with the shorties or is it still best with h1000, n565, etc

H1000, RL26, N565 are all still good powders for a 20”. I’m just starting break in on a new 20” but my 19.5” finished at 2960 with a 140, 2850 with a 156, and 3080 with a 135. I ram RL26 in it. This new 20” has a great node at 3056 with a 130 w N565. It only has 32 rounds through it so far.

140 for sure. Not sure with 156 and case capacity.
