6.5 PRC Reloading

I'm using the Berger Elite Hunter 135gr and it has been superbly accurate and at 1000yds has been the best bullet I've used. Worked very well on antelope.

Anyone have feedback on the non-Hornady brass? I've ordered Hornady and found that it won't ship until 04 April. I'd like to use something else in the meanwhile if I can get it.

im surprised there is no interest here. ill keep on trying different things as time permits and enjoy this thing.
I am very interested! I have (2) 6.5 PRCs and have been shooting the Hornady factory loads. I haven't reloaded in years, but i am about to get back into that groove. I have all the components and tools in place.

Shot a .186 group with 147 eldm, h1000, 57.4 grains, fed match rifle primer. Speed was 2860. 26 inch barrel. 60 total rounds down the barrel. Will it speed up? Seems slow.....

I have a Christensen Arms BA Tactical with 26" barrel it averages about 2850 to 2860 with factory Hornady Match 147 ELDM's. I was hoping to get to 3,000 FPS with hand loads. I am actually getting a little more speed from my Seekins PH-1 with 24" barrel. 186 group sounds great! 100 yards? 3 shot or 5 shot groups?

took the gun out this evening while snowing a little. it came back in to 1.18 groups at 200 yds with h1000 59.1 grains. same groups from 58.8 to 59.7. running 3085 fps, no sticky brass. ES 11.0 SD 5.0. still not the bug hole group I seen this gun do but.... im not done yet.
Mountain,, are you still running the Elites at about 60 off? I did some grouping today and found my gun like 2.960 and 2.955.
