6.5 long action hunting rifle opinions

As far as, "Long Range accuracy" goes, the next 1,000 yard Record group, will probably be shot with, the 7 mm-.270 WSM (or, 7 mm-.300 WSM) "wildcat" as, the Canadian's and the Brit's, are heavily "into" that, caliber, presently

Hello 30BR,
You could not possibly know that 14 years ago at a state championship match I fired ten shots into a 2.25 group at 600 yards (5x), both worlds records at the time. I have won matches with that switch barrel weapon at 100,200,300 yards, 500 meters, 600 and 1,000 yards. The last with the 6.5 x 284 barrel. At that time people just went nuts down the line because I was competing with 6.5x 284's and 300 magnums. Some ego,s got bruised there. So, I do appreciate the wonderful, accurate, easy to load 30BR !

THANKS 30BR,.. WOW, a tad over 1 inch at 1,000 yards,.. amazing !
And using a BRUX barrel,.. GOOD for them as, they are really NICE Guys !
That small group, will probably stand for, a long time !
YUP, a 6mm WILL, "do it", IF,.. NO Wind !
