6.5 grendel reloading question

So I started reloading some 6.5 grendel ammo and found something weird. I checked Hornady and Nosler and both say primer is small rifle. but I started cleaning out the pockets and my small rifle cleaner was way to small. These shells use large rifle primers. what's up? Anybody know anything about this? Thanks

Check out www.65grendel.com . I think what you have is Wolf ammo. The Alexander/Lapua stuff uses the small primers I think thr Hornady does as well but not sure. Check out that sight for all things Grendel.

Yes they are small primer, only wolf uses Large primers
