morning, I have a dubious question, I have a LA Rem. mag action. will

will the mag. bolt face work with the 6.5 Sherman?? if not I will go

with the 264 win. mag. AI. I like 6.5's. I was also considering the 6.5

weatherby off the 7mmwbee case? give opinions. 28" hart #5.5 SS

No, the Sherman cartridges are .473" bolt face, like the .25-06, .270, and .30-06.

You could always build a .264 WinMag. Same basic thing as the 6.5 Wby wildcat, just with properly headstamped (and cheaper) brass. And you can buy reloading dies without having to order custom dies and wait.

For sizing the 6.5 from the 7 Wea you don't need a custom full length die. Just use the 7 Wea die. The you can use a .264 neck size die. It is cheaper than the custom. But maybe not a convenient.
