6.5 creedmore loads

Anyone load the creedmore with 140 grain eld match using h4350 or ar 2209 I want to use this in my Tikka tac a1

Tikka 6.5cm have the big CIP freebore. Load that 140eld .020 off with 41.5g or 42g H4350 in a lapua srp case, cci450. This load has shot well in every factory tikka 6.5cm I've loaded for.

As stated above, 140s over 41 to 42 H4350 should do well. I use 41.7 H4350 and Nosler 140 Custom Competition for PRS.

Awesome all great info thanks I'll be running Norma brass and cci br2 primers I think , we don't have a choice for primers atm but I think I have a thousand of them so should get me started

Just run it up on quickload looks abit anemic, I was under the impression our adi 2209 was the same as americas h4350 but it must be different?

It looks to be similar to IMR 4350 not H 4350. I am new to reloading but I do believe there's a difference in these two powders. How much I am not sure. But I am sure some of these guys will tell you. lol
ADI AR2209 is a fine grained moderately slow burning rifle powder. Commonly used calibres include: 22-250 REM 243 WIN 270 WIN 30-06 SPRG 300 WIN MAG AR2209 has a similar burn rate to IMR4350 but with a higher density that meters through a powder loader far better. ADI AR2209


I believe Ramshot Hunter is supposed to be close to H 4350. But again I have no experience using this powder yet. And have not compared the two. I hope others chime in. Because I am also curious to the loads for 6.5 CM using small primer pockets. And the large. But more with the small PP using CCI 450s. Fed 205M.

Difference between Hodgen 4350 and IMR 4350?

I am loading a 22-243 Rayhill...Is there any difference between Hodgen and IMR? Can I load them with the same grain weight?

For 65 CM, I use 140s over H4350 and Winchester Staball 65. In US, H4350 became hard to find so I switched to Staball 65 - I prefer H4350. I do not believe that loads with 65CM small primer with CCI450 would be any significant difference that Federal 210 large primers I normally use. An advantage of 6/65CM is small primer brass is available.

FWIW the original Hornady Load was 41.5 H4350 and a fed 210m primer. If your rifle wont shoot that sell it lol.

What makes you think it anemic? 65CM case kind of small - probably push 140s at 2600-2700+ depending on barrel length. My 26inch 140 load is 2769.
