6.5 Creedmoor for varmints

There are better tools for that, But if its all you have load the lightest 6.5 bullet you can find and go at it.
Yup I agree. I use a 5.56 AR15 as my general truck gun/ vamint rifle. A bolt 223 rem, 204 Ruger or even a 17 of some sort would be better. I'll build a 20 Practical this fall/ winter for coyotes/ varmints. The 260 AI is strictly 500 yards and beyond FOR ME.

I have a friend that built a 6.5cm and uses it for groundhogs at home and prairie dogs on our trips. He loads 100gr Nosler ballistic tips with H4350 and it works well.
Very similar, I used to use a 260 with 120 Nosler ballistic tips and I loved it shooting the longer range shots.

A lot of calibers more practical for sure, it it kills them just as dead

I have a semi custom 260, heavy barrel, would be perfect weight for p-dogs. Just the cost of shooting high volume "large rifle" shells at p-dogs doesn't sit very well with me. Although I have ZERO issues banging steel with them, craziness I guess. I am working on a 6 CM right now, it will likely make the trip next p-dog shoot.

You were excavating them with the RUM rather than shooting them!!!! LOL
Pretty much dug a trench right through him.
Not fur friendly.
