I bought the Browning X-Bolt Hells Canyon Long Range in 6.5 Creedmoor and need a BA hunting scope for whitetail. I will be taking deer from right under my stand to as far as 700 yards. My stand is in the woods so low light is a priority. Money isn't an issue per say, but let's try to keep the budget under $2,500 (unless you can make the case spending a little more would be worth it). I know there are a lot of options for my needs and price range. Please, help a brother out. Thanks!

I think a Leupold VX-6HD 2-12x42mm illuminated T-MOA reticle would be awesome on that rifle. They only weigh 16 oz! Street price is about $1500.

I agree with barrel nut, but would also consider the same scope in the 3-18 configuration. Love the TMOA reticle. One other scope I would offer up, that can be found used on this forum for nice prices is the nightforce nxs 3.5-15x50. It is a bit on the heavy side however.

I was thinking a z8 in a 2-16 option. The 2 power would be nice with deer right under your stand. 1 power does not sound like much but a deer right under your stand would be tougher with a 3 power then2. Sounds like you got a nice rifle I hope you find the scope that works for you.

Athlon Cronus is on sale at Cabelas for $1,000. Right on par with the Vortex Razor. Japanese made scope, HD lenses, 120 MOA click adjustment, zero stop, 34mm tube, repeatable, audible clicks.

I'm putting a VX-5 3-15x44 on my Seekins Havak Creedmoor. It should be a nice, packable combo.
