6.5 A-Max bullets

Does any one out there know why Hornady discontinued the 6.5 A-Max bullet line? I have had really good luck with the 140 A-Max in my .260 AI.

Pretty sure the amax line was re-branded as the eldm.

No personal experience, but plenty of posts here about the eldm being an amax with the heat shield tip.

I miss their VMax Moly coated. Although, their VMax polymer tip is flying just fine out of my Savage 10 .22-250.

The 140 eldm and 140 amax shoot the same load with the same accuracy in my 6.5wsm at the same velocity.
