gents - looking for favorite loads for this 6.5/06 - rem 700 long , 28" 1-8 twist , throated for 142 smk - using 25/06 brass , thanks

Try 48.5 gr. AA4350 with the 142 bullet(start
5% lower and work up!!!)

52 grain of N165 with 139 Scenar moly

AA3100 can works fine in the 50 grain range

My 6.5-06 is enjoying 140gr SST mollied, H4831SC (very toasty load), CCI BR2 or Fed 210M, in neck sized LC69 '06 brass.

Just finished getting the drop table set up out to 800yds. Took 15 min to make the trip so very flat shooting. Muzzle vel for the 140gr SST was 2975fps - perfect.

Accuracy has been in the sub MOA out to 800yds. Just need more practise and cooler weather to get ready for this hunting season.

Try the 6.5-06, I believe you will like it too.
