56mm nightforce and sendero

Ive got a 56mm nightforce on the way for a Sendero2 I was wondering how tall of rings I need to get it to clear? I'm looking into a nightforce 20 moa direct mount. My guess is probably the high mount.

There is a website out there that can assist you if you can measure. Something in the Google search of "scope ring height calculator" should get you there. I have used it and found it to be pretty close.

I have pic rail and rings, and need 1 1/8". I measured the 1 1/8" rings when installed, to see if I could use 1" rings, and realized I would not have enough clearance to use the bikini rubbers. So 1 1/8" it is.

I had to go back through one of my old posts but found it!

"According to Nightforce, if using a 20 moa bases and medium rings .885, a 56mm will fit on a Sendero/light varmint contour, but will not fit my Palma contour."

When trying to decide on scope objectives for my build, I talked to nightforce and that is what they said! I went with badger rings @.885 which is their medium. However, .885 is nightforces low rings.

The 20 moa medium direct mount will give you about 5mm clearance with a 56 NF objective .

56mm NXS worked with NF Ultralight lows and 20* EGW rail with plenty of clearance.
