Curious. Why no shipments to California? I have purchased a rifle from a fellow member who shipped to my FFL, no issue.

I recently purchased a rifle from one member of the LRH and some .270 ammo from a different one, all shipped to my FFL ( in fact, 2 seperate ones ) and no issue except cost on my end to register the rifle and a Cal. check on the ammo. both my FFLs charge $25 fee to accept any weapons, ammo, etc. but thats on me not the shipper. AS FAR AS I KNOW.

If the seller is not an FFL, there is no registration necessary. Just ship the CA legal item(s) to the transfer dealer with a copy of your ID, just like most other states. Some dealers won't accept shipments from non-FFL's, so that can complicate things, but this is not a CA-specific issue. Handguns are a different story as they need to be on an approved or exempt list, and they need to come from an FFL. The receiving FFL can handle the firearm and ammo transactions for the buyer with no additional paperwork from the seller.

It saves me a bunch of $$.Seller just needs to send to a ffl.
Buyer is some what of a hassle with 10 day wait but doesnt affect seller
