I just don't have the time to shoot this thing…baby is due in two months…blah blah blah. To get to my 2500 yard range takes an hour and it's not going to happen with the new arrival with enough frequency to justify this rifle. I hate to see it go, but such is life.
Up for sale is a recently completed 375 Cheytac.
Specs:
Barker Machine "Overwatch" single shot action
Jewell bottom safety trigger
Stainless Brux 32", 10 twist barrel, 1.450" shank, 1.100" at the muzzle
Sits in a Manners T50A now that was professionally bedded by David Young in Sand Coulee, MT. Please use XLR pics for barreled action reference only
40 MOA rail
Metal is Cerakoted "sniper gray"
With the Terminator scope, it weighs about 23.5# according to my bathroom scale.
I've never really given this gun a chance. It has less than 150 rounds down the pipe and has shot a number of sub 0.5 MOA groups with 350 grain SMK's and 132 gr. of Retumbo. I shot it at 2256 yards a little while back and was pleased at how well it did. Recoil is very manageable. Less than my 15# 338 Lapua. After the bed job and the Manners stock, the groups have shrunk considerably. It's now a solid 0.35 MOA gun out to 1000 yards.
What I would like to do is sell a "turn-key" package with bullets, brass, scope rings, etc. I also have a 62" Dark Earth drag bag that will go it. I think it's a Tac-Ops. I won't separate at this time.
The following will be included at the $2375 shipped to FFLasking price:
Rifle
Viersco Die Set
Tac-Ops Drag Bag
380 count 350 grain SMK's
75 pieces of 1x fired Jamison brass (408 headstamp)
50 pieces of new Bertram brass (375 headstamp)
Reloading data (free of charge! I see some charge for this)
Stock has cups on the left side
Full disclosure:
-Stock paint is Krylon, rookie job by my buddy who is an aspiring stock painter. Looks good from 10 feet but has imperfections on closer inspection.
-some of the Cerakote has been worn off of the top of the bolt shroud from making contact with the cheek piece when it was in the XLR stock.
-minor wear and tear on the stock from removing barreled action
Scope, rings, sling and bipod NOT included.
Only trades would be quality glass (IOR, NXS, USO in MOA/MOA) or a Rem 700 based custom/semi-custom in 308 or 300 WIN Mag.
Thanks for looking.
