375 Chey Tec Shooters

Lets talk bullets has anybody out their shooting Cutting Edge bullets out past 1000 yards with the above. I have a few 100 of the Lost River 350 that shot great in my gun 132 grs of RE25. I shot Serria 350 same load that does good with very little wind. I'm going to Returbo in a few weeks got any info were to start.

Retumbo is the powder for the lighter bullets in the 375s the cutting edge 330gr - 350gr would be worth a try what barrel twist and length do you have?

gun)Its a Lawton 30" with 1-12 twist...I'm getting 3100fps with a 350 gr bullet.

I got more speed with Retumbo than 50BMG with the 350 CE with my 375 DCM, 375/408 imp.

50 BMG is the powder to use with the 400 & 425 Cutting Edge in my case

I haven't tried the 375s yet.

I'll start around 130grs and work my way up. What fps and grs are you loading and how long is your barrel if you don't care to share that with all of us..

My Imp is a lot bigger than a std Cheytac.
I'm getting 3300+fps with the 350s, 32" gain twist barrel.

I use 141gr retumbo behind 350smks in 10 twist 33" barrel and get now 3270 fps.

That's smoking a bullet...big time....I want to re-barrel with a faster twist and longer...who is you barrel maker. I want to order soon.

Update on the Returbo powder test. I started at 135 grs and was getting 3150 about the same as RL-25 132 grs. 136 grs where at 3190's then I jumped to 138 and got 3245 this is where I stop. I was using the Cutting Edge 350 bullet. Now out to the 1 mile range to test after our deer season is over. I have the BAS chamber on the 408 Chey Tec brass.
