I wouldn't count on trump removing them from the NFA act. Pam Bondi just started making an illegal gun registry a day or two ago by forcing gun rights groups to hand over the names of all members, and Trump was in favor of it. In his first term the only gun laws he passed was banning bump fires. Trump is not pro 2A, he only pretends to be. His actions speak louder than words. The tax stamp thing being no longer is nice though, and if they manage to remove suppressors entirely from the ATF registry I will happily be proven wrong and buy one. But I have no intention of being on a registry.

I actually stumbled into this one. I was at a Scheel's store in Eden Prairie, MN and happened to walk by a display loaded with suppressors. I had no intentions of buying a suppressor that day, but the .338 Ultra caught my eye. (Or more so, the price of it.) That store had it on sale for $1,399.99 + Tax and Federal stamp. There's NO WAY I could pass it up at that price!!! That was a year ago last September. :cool:
 
Go TBAC 338 Ultra for sure. I use mine on my 338 RUM and several other cartridges. Subsonic 300 BLK is ridiculously quiet.
 
I purchased an omega 300 and 46dtm yesterday from sportsman warehouse for $499 plus the stamp, which puts its back to the seams price at retail, with a free stamp. However, do not be fooled into thinking that you buy these in January and have a quick turnaround….every Tom, dick, and Harry will be saving that $200 so get ready to wait and pay the same thing as we are now…..to save $200 that you really won't be saving…..lol

I agree. I don't think there will be a quick turnaround. My LGS silencer Co. Rep said that he thought there was 30,000 on hold waiting to be delivered after the 1st
 
Currently I own the AB Raptor 10 + 3" Reflex, 338 cal model. Very quiet and a manageable size for hunting in comparison to some of the TBAC's. That said if I purchase another 338 cal suppressor it will be a TBAC Ultra 338 RR model of some sort. So there's another vote for TBAC if you want to buy once.

I agree I've been buying any cans I might want before this goes into effect. With the govt running this it is going to be a **** show for sure. And probably cause wait times to go back up to a year or more.
