338 RUM reloading help

I would like some loading help with my remington 700 LSS in 338 RUM. I have a 24" barrel and have been loading 98.6 gr. Retumbo and using 250 gr. SMK bullets. This load has been producing 2904 fps on chronograph. Anyone else using Retumbo and 250 gr. SMK bullets. I would really appreciate some help. thanks in advance.

I use 97.5 of H-1000 and get 3020 fps with a 28" barrel with 250 SMK's However, that 28 is 4" more than your rifle.
