I got one last chance to hit the range, good thing is light until 11pm!.

I tried two different loads in my 340 Wby with 260 grain HH. Both shot well under MOA. the hotter load shot .42 MOA. Thats pretty good for shooting on a makeshift sand bag, no muzzle brake and a hunting scope. I'll load some up tomorrow and that will be my load as i head to the north slope this weekend. We'll see if they kill as good as they shoot!

Didn't have a chance to deploy the 340 on the bear, happened too quick and from camp. Used the rifle that was out, 300 PRC. I posted in the official thread but here's what a 260 HH does to caribou when hit in the meat above the spine
