Finally had the chance to try some RL33 in my 338-378 with some 300 gr SMK. I started at 107 grs with 2707 fps and worked my way up reaching 3020 fps comfortably out of a stock Accumark with a 26 inch barrel. That is 100 fps better than I was able to achieve before. Next is accuracy work.

Couples details I left out, FED 215 primers and seated the SMK's at Mag length 3.8 If I get the accuracy I am with RL25 I will be very pleased.

How many grains of RL33 did you end up with to get 3020fps??

I'm going to guess right around 120 grains, maybe even more.

118.0 I hit 3020 fps , 119.0 I hit 3,050 but had a little bit of sticky bolt lift and ejector button shiny spot Anyone looking at this though please work up your own load ,every rifle reacts different. This is a factory gun with weatherby freebore. 2920 fps was my previous best velocity with RL25.
