Does anybody load the barnes lrx 265 in the 338-378? They only show data for the lapua for that bullet. Looking for a good starting point if anybody has one. Thanks

Just take the minimum load for a 265 grain bullet from the Hodgdon website and work up from there. Barnes bullets and the loads for them are not a lot different than cup and core loads, especially at min starting loads. That is what I do for almost all rifles, including the 338-378. With a case that has that much capacity, I would not start below published minimums. In this case, Hodgdon has loads for a Batrnes bullet very close the specific bullet you are interested in. I pasted this from their site.

Case:Weatherby
Twist:1:10.000"
Primer:Federal 215M, Large Rifle Magnum Match
Barrel Length:26.000"
Trim Length:2.903"
Bullet Weight
265 GR. BAR TTSX BT
