.308 - TSX 130gr

308 Winchester I've had good results with ramshot tac. 3006 varget has been great in my son's new barrel and my daughter's 300 wsm uses imr 4064 with awesome results.

If you can find some ramshot tac try that along with varget or h335. 3200 FPS is possible with those powders

Thanks. I have access to several ".308 powders" but no TAC. I will try to find some. otherwise it will be Varget, 4895, or CFE223

46.5gr of Benchmark produces sub .5moa at 400yds in my .308. I'm using Lapua cases and Fed 210M primers.
Velocity is 3,130 ft/sec.
FWIW - I am loading the 130 TTSX .165 off the rifling.

I should add that my previous experience with Barnes X bullets revealed that animals often just walked away after a broadside lung shot but were always found dead a short distance away. Reactions to the shot were rare. I never shot them ON the shoulder.

However, I shot an 8 pt buck as it walked directly towards me at 150yds or so and it pole axed him. The big buck looked like something slammed him to the ground and he never moved again. Without a doubt, the fastest kill I have ever seen.

130 TTSX
55 grains Win 748 (using drop tube)
GM210M or Win WLR
2.855"

Velocity = 3048 FPS out of my 16" Ruger Gunsight Scout.
Warm load but smooth bolt lift.

56 grains yielded 3086 FPS but decided on 55 grains.
