I have a .308 that I built for f-t/r about a year ago. I set the throat for the 215 hybrids and that's what I use in competition, but for shooting LR at home I use the 185 vld hunting bullets because I can get them locally and they group 1/4 MOA at 200 yards. I have just gained access to land where I can shoot out too a mile but my load goes sub sonic at about 1300 yards. Has anyone tried shooting the 185 vld past its super sonic range, and if so does it remain stable? BTW my barrel has a 1-10 twist and MV is 2725 FPS.
Thanks in advance
