Hay guys,
I will have a Rem. 700 in 300rum. I was thinking of getting 5 boxes of Rem. ammo of the same lot # and fire form fit the brass to save time. Is this a good idea? And is there a differences in brass quality between the premium and cheep Rem. ammo or is it all the same.
I'm a beginner and will need a lot of help with this precision reloading. Are there any book or CD's reloading.

Thanks for the help:)

Remingtion brass is as good as any!

Nosler preimum brass is made by federal and is no better but is weight
sorted (But you pay 2 to 3 times as much for this service).

I use a lot of Remingtion brass and find it to be the best buy for the
money.

I can buy Rem brass for $.57 cents a round insted of $2.00 and lose
only 3 or 4 to weight sorting and they hold up very well 4 to 5 loadings
with no losses.

The tough'est brass I ever used was DWM and I cant find it any more.

If you can find the older remingtion loads with nozler bullets it is good
ammo , and shoots very good! (Dont know why they had to change).

Good luck and good hunting

300 rum brass

I've had a few of the factory cases show splits in the neck after 1 reload. Maybe they expect these to be single use. Just guessing. No problems though with new remington brass bought from midway after several loads.

I happen to have 100 pieces of new REM 300 RUM brass I will sell for $60.00 shipped. My future project has been pushed back since my daughters trip to the dentist and her needing braces.
