30-338 Lapua imp headspace

I have new reamer 30-338 Lapua Rogue 37° improved with .341" neck . I ordered also headspace gauges in same order. Go and no-Go gauge. Gauges are anyhow to 338Lapua imp. Are they correct gauges to 30 -338Lapua imp too? I think no because neck is .341".

The neck doesn't matter as long as the shoulder angle is correct.

The case head spaces on the shoulder datum line and the case head, so if you had the reamer manufacture build the go gauge at the same time for your reamer it should be correct.

I recommend setting the head space .001 to .002 on shouldered cases, The no gauge will be .004 to .007 and not usable if the chamber is cut right.

The body of the head space gauge will also be loose in the chamber so it will align properly.
