I have 5 customers shooting or will be shooting the .284 Win. All are using Lapua 6.5 x .284 brass necked back to .284. All are shooting 1:8 or 1:9, 5C Broughton (25-31") or Rock Creek 5R, Bartlein barrels 4 groove.
Several are shooting 180 JLKs and 180 Bergers. I have one shooting 162 Bergers. I will have two hunting with 120-140 Barnes Tripple shocks.
Have any of you experimnted with the 120 and 140 Tripple shocks X bullets or tipped X bullets. I am expecting 3000 fps to 3200fps. With 56-59 grains of H-4831SC or Reloader 17. I may try some H4895, Varget, and Reloder 15.
Any Sggestions.
