280 AI 8 Twist Barrel Loads

Just replaced my 10 twist barrel to a 8 twist barrel on my 280 AI to shoot 175 ELD-X or Berger 180 VLD's and possibly 195 VLD's. Any one have any accurate low ES load they are willing to share?

Try the new Berger 175 Elite Hunters. Also, give IMR 7828 SSC a try.

1 in 8" prefit on one of my savages... not even sure the make of the barrel, buddy of mine picked it up third hand at a gun show for me...
Nosler 175gr accubond LR and Berger 180 Hybrid
Nosler brass
CCI 250 LR magnum primers
Retumbo 56.5gr
~2700fps
Mild load but very consistent, SD in single digits according to my magneetospeed
Both bullets shot the same POI from 100-1000yards for me, but ended up just shooting the bergers as I could get them in bulk...

Just worked this load up in my son's 280AI this week, 1 in 9 twist 25". RL23 56.0 gr. Fed 210M, 175 berger elite hunter, shoots .4, 2830fps, es10.
