Does anyone know a good gunsmith in southwest pa to rebarrle my mark v 270 wby was going send it back to weatherby but the informed me that the would only put back with 1 1/4 garntee and put back the 1/10 twist and I'm looking for 1/8.5

Sorry, not SW PA but in FL. IIWY, contact @Alex Wheeler and consider 1:8" or faster. My .270 AI has a 30" 1:8"Lilja that was build in 2012, and was the fastest at the time.

If you can't find anyone in your area, Rich Reilly at Hi Tech Custom Rifles in Colorado Springs, Colorado rebarreled my Weatherby. He put a Lilja match barrel with one of his brakes on it. Give him a call at (719) 667-1090. Check out his website and look at some of his work.

But he is retired and picks what he wants to do. And perfers not buying much to do the work.
