Hello, I have a big game rifle in 270 wsm. I am looking for a hunting bullet that is great for long range hunting. Currently I am shooting 140 gr. Nosler accubonds at about 3100 fps. I am wondering if anyone has some ideas for me. Is this a good bullet that I should keep shooting or should I change it up and move to something else. Thanks for the advice.

My comment would be that there are two choices for you WSM,
140 NABs are a very good bullet.
150 Ballistic Tips are also very good but don't have the terminal performance of the NAB. Terminal performance, for me out weighted both accuracy and energy.
Another great bullet is the 150 Berger. You should be able to push it easily to 3100. With a published BC of 0.545 it would put you well into the long range class. That is beyond the 800 yard mark.
Just my tho'ts.
