I recently had a 6.5 creed rebarreled by Defensive Edge using their hunting reamer version of the 260 terminator and a 3 inch mag box.

Just curious what all powders and bullets people have tinkered with. If anyone has had one recently, please share load data with barrel length and velocity. The rl26 data is on the their website obviously but I'd love to hear any h4350, n555, rl16, 6.5staball, or anything else that you have used.

Thanks in advance!

No difference at all actually. Both have redding dies and require fire forming. This one is just faster....

Back to the the actual topic though. Anyone have any load data besides what panhandle precision and defense edge have posted?

Thank you

Can't see it being faster with just the +P throat. I had a 338 Edge with the +P throat, what a disaster that was…

Anyway, you're gonna need a good dose of H4350 or W760 to get the pulse required to overcome that long tapered throat. Slower powders may be a waste of time.

What does their website say?

I found their data lacking, YMMV.

Cheers.

Zack, H4350 130 OTMs and 140 Bergers. Super accurate. Of course you know his RL 26 load if you have any.
RL 23 is a new try for me with some 145 Gamekings at around 2900. Love my Terminator.

I would look at .260AI load data and work around that to start your testing.

I have two .260AIs.
20" 1:7.5"
Alpha SRP .260 Rem brass fire formed
CCI 450
46.4gr H4350
140 Hyb
2914fps

24" 1:7.5"
Alpha LRP .260 Rem brass fire formed
Fed GM210M
46.2gr H4350
130 OTM
3086fps

The above looks about right. 46-48gr H4350 depending where pressure hits. Newer brass will be more forgiving that shot brass. 47.3gr of RL 23 is where I'm at with the 145 sierra TGK. BR2 and Fed210 primers.
