Guys looking for some load data for my 260 Rem I currently use 44.5 gr of IMR 4350 fed 210primers 120gr TTSX. Gun is a custom build with 24" barrel, and i shoot under half inch at 200 and 1/2" at 300 . I want to use Berger 130gr VLDS ,does anyone have any load info they would like to share .

The guys who are shooting 260's--and winning--in our long range matches all seem to be using the same load...

Remington brass.

142 grain Sierra Matchking

38.0 grains of Varget

CCI BR-2 primer, or CCI 200

This load works extremely well... work up from 36 grains and see how it goes.

With 140's... same 38.0 grain charge of Varget should work well.

No data for 130s... other than to say that Varget or 4064 would probably be the powders to beat...

Here's a couple of loads that have worked well for me. The OALs include a Sinclair "hex nut" bullet comparator. For base to ogive measurement, subtract 1" from OAL.
