Hey guys I'm looking to speed up my quest for a very accurate load for 260.

I have a Savage 11FCNS w/ a Douglas XX 22" barrel 1:9 twist. I've been loading 43 grains of H-4350 in Lapua brass and 120 SMK's with 2.850 OAL. I'm getting 1 moa at 100 and 200 yds.

I think this rifle is able to do better.

Any thoughts?

I have a Sako that performs very well with Varget powder and berger 130gr VLD's. If you're looking for a varmint load 95gr vmax over Varget works well in mine too. 3200 fps.

In 260, I get the smallest groups with:

100 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip moly coated # 26100 bullet moly coated ,
45.8 gr canister IMR4895, 2.930" over all length, almost no insertion of
the bullet into the neck, due to the short bullet and long throat.
