I have a Savage 10 Predator hunter in 260 coming. I want to load one load for it target/hunting. I was thinking of using the new Nosler long range 129 grn Accubonds. I have 100 pcs of Lapua brass and Redding dies already. Was wondering if anyone has used them yet or using something with good results?
Thanks
Tim

Exactly what I'm doing with my 260. One load. 130 Berger hunting vld and H4350.

My coal is @ 2.925. It's 3.145 measured with my Sinclair nut comparator.
I'm running 2979 fps out of my 26" Savage LRP.

My .260 has shot 142g SMK's, 130g Berger Hunting, and the 140g Berger Hybrid, all with H4350. All were easily under .5 MOA. And the 130g Bergers performed very well on 4 different Wyoming antelope last year, from 180 yards out to 575. So I don't think you can go wrong with the 130g Bergers, although I'm currently preferring the 140g Hybrids and can't wait to see how they perform on a few antelope next year.

Savage Model 12 LRP. 140 gr Berger Hunting VLD. 41.5 grains of IMR4350. Shoots under a 1/2 moa on a bad day.

Custom Rem SA 260 24" barrel , 2.82 OAL - 45GR IMR 4350 with SMK 123gr 2950 .3MOA @ 100yards 6 shots at 300yards .6MOA very accurate load for me. Load is very hot load start lower work up. Will try on game this season ELk ,and MD hopfully it will preform well.
